Christin Stone - Ministry Associate

David attended Western Carolina University to earn a degree in Fisheries Management, fish in the Tuckaseegee, hike some trails, and camp. More importantly though, he got an education in how the body of Christ should live and act out its faith, thanks to the staff and students at WCU's Baptist Student Union. Baptists provided a place to be ministered to and a place to learn how to minister to others. He feels it is an honor to be able to return the favor to other students. David and Christin met at the former Baptist Student Union at Western Carolina and both served on leadership throughout their college years. Called to UNCA in 2004, their goal is to model a healthy marriage relationship and a shared ministry concept for their students.  

Christin likes reading a good book and viewing nature from a good window. She has a B.A. in English from Western Carolina University and an M.A. in English from UNC-Charlotte.

David likes watching a good movie based upon a good book and nature stained all over him. He has a B.S. in natural resources management from Western Carolina University and an M.Div. from Gardner-Webb University.

Their lives have been turned upside-down with the addition of Benjamin in the fall of 2011 and Jonathan in fall of 2013. Now they have no time for the previously mentioned things they like but wouldn't have it any other way.
